Video 1 Justice Minister Anna Richardson
1) The Minister is very happy that illegal vendors and hawkers harassing tourists were rounded up. Businesses were fined, undocumented workers were detained.
2) The raids were done in coordination with the multidisciplinary teams.
3) Those harassing tourists, visitors and cruise passengers, were themselves harassed for a change. Those without documents were rounded up, and seemingly are being deported.
4) Businesses with no license and undocumented workers were shut down and fined.
5) Saturday in St Peters 2 bars, 1 supermarket, 2 lottery booths were shut down. 3 managers of illegal establishments were fined.
6) You cannot be carrying anything illegal while being Id’d by authority.
