In its public meeting no. 06 of Tuesday, January 18, 2022; The Parliament of Sint Maarten approved the credentials admitting Mr. Chanel E. Brownbill as substitute Member of Parliament for Member of Parliament Claudius A. Buncamper, in accordance with article 50, paragraph 3 of the Constitution.

On this same day, in accordance with article 56 of the Constitution, Mr. Chanel E. Brownbill was sworn in by the Governor. The ceremony took place at the Cabinet of the Governor, in the presence of the President of Parliament and a relative of Mr. C.E. Brownbill.

With the examination of the credentials and having taken the oath of office, Mr. Chanel E. Brownbill can now function as a full Member of Parliament, for the duration of the suspension of Mr. C.A. Buncamper.
