Latest French Saint Martin Covid-19 Curfew EXTENDED 10 p.m. English French
With 84 new cases of contamination in week 36 (from September 6 to 12, 2021) in Saint-Martin, epidemiological indicators confirm a constant downward trend. However, virus circulation remains at a high level (incidence rate 235 / 100,000). In addition, the DELTA variant continues to circulate predominantly. Today, 10 patients are hospitalized at CH Louis Constant Fleming. Two deaths in Saint-Martinois last week are to be deplored, and in all, 54 since the start of the epidemic.

The figures show that the mobilization of all is bearing fruit and today allows a reduction in the constraints linked to the health situation. In this context, the Prefect Serge GOUTEYRON decided to postpone the start time of the curfew to 22:00 from this Friday September 17, 2021 until Friday September 24, 2021. In addition, the Prefect calls for continuing the mobilization through the application of barrier gestures and respect for distance.

At the same time, vaccination is now the only recognized possibility of combating the transmission of serious forms of the disease. The Prefect encourages vaccination by going to the hospital center or to the city doctor.
