34 young people took part in the first edition of the EDU’CAMP system set up by the youth service of the Saint-Martin community,
under the aegis of Vice-President Dominique Louisy and Territorial Councilor Raphaël Sanchez.

The children were welcomed in the morning at the Daniella JEFFRY Professional High School,
from July 11 to July 29, for learning sessions through fun, cultural and sports activities.

Association Association Cobraced: Enhance the learning base of children through the contribution of digital culture with the aim of promoting Edu’Camp.
Association Advancement and Development of the Youth: board game and skill game workshops aimed at developing children’s motivation and concentration.
The objective: To encourage autonomy and a sense of initiative; Work on the fundamentals (patience,
listening to instructions and perseverance), a playful approach promoting social diversity.

Soualigan Slangs Association: Discover the games of yesteryear and make traditional kites using everyday objects.
Association T-Aby: Sewing workshop with the aim of making a bag from jeans or old clothes.

Association Anis: Digital photo workshops and coding, robotics.
Association Edu ‘ Carib: School coaching (examples: how to revise effectively? Learn to learn; How to optimize your workspace?).
Association Mixop: “Green smoothies” and “Playful tasting” workshops.
The children also practiced various sports activities offered by the Sport Department of the Community under the aegis of the territorial councilor Marc G Ménard.
The community of Saint-Martin wishes to thank the professional school of Marigot for its warm welcome as well as all the people who gave their time to make this first edition a success.
Congratulations to the children who were very diligent and invested in the projects.

34 jeunes ont participé à la première édition du dispositif EDU’CAMP mis en place par le service jeunesse de la collectivité de Saint-Martin,
sous l’égide de la vice-présidente Dominique Louisy et du conseiller territorial Raphaël Sanchez.

Les enfants étaient accueillis en matinée au Lycée Professionnel Daniella JEFFRY, du 11 juillet au 29 juillet,
pour des sessions d’apprentissage à travers des activités ludiques, culturelles et sportives.
Un grand merci aux associations partenaires ayant répondu à l’appel à candidatures lancé par la COM :
Association Réflexion Avenir : « Mon île et moi » dont l’objectif était d’aider les enfants à prendre conscience de l’importance de prendre soin de leur île, de s’impliquer dans la vie sociale et le développement durable de celle-ci.
Association Association Cobraced : Valoriser la base d’apprentissage des enfants par l’apport de la culture numérique avec pour objectif de réaliser la promotion d’Edu’Camp.

Association Advancement and Development of the Youth : des ateliers de jeux de société et de jeux d’adresse visant à développer la motivation et la concentration des enfants. L’objectif: Encourager l’autonomie et le sens de l’initiative ;
Travailler les fondamentaux (patience, écoute des consignes et persévérance), une approche ludique favorisant la mixité sociale.
Association Soualigan Slangs : Découverte des jeux d’antan et fabrication de cerf-volant traditionnels à l’aide d’objets du quotidien.
Association T-Aby : Atelier de couture avec pour finalité la confection d’un sac à partir d’un jean ou d’un vieux vêtement.

Association Anis : Ateliers de photos numériques et codage, robotique.
Association Edu’Carib : Coaching scolaire (exemples : comment réviser de façon efficace ? Apprendre à apprendre ; Comment optimiser son espace de travail ?).
Association Mixop : Ateliers « Green smoothies » et « Dégustation ludique ».
Les enfants ont aussi pratiqué différentes activités sportives proposées par le service Sport de la Collectivité sous l’égide du conseiller territorial Marc G Ménard.

La collectivité de Saint-Martin souhaite remercier le lycée professionnel de Marigot pour son accueil chaleureux ainsi que toutes les personnes ayant donné de leur temps pour réussir cette première édition.
